Maple Molasses Gingerbread Cookie

Ingredients:
•    ½ cup butter or Earth Balance Buttery Spread or ghee (clarified butter)
•    ½ cup Pure Maple Syrup
•    ½ cup Dark Molasses
•    ¼ teaspoon Salt
•    1 Egg Replacer
•    2 ½ cups Flour
•    2 teaspoon Baking Soda
•    ½ teaspoon Ground Cloves
•    2 teaspoon Ground Ginger
•    1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
•    Optional 2 Tablespoons minced candied ginger


Steps:
1.    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2.    Cream together butter, maple syrup, molasses, salt and egg replacer until well mixed.
3.    Add dry ingredients (in small increments) to the wet ingredients and mix well, include flour, baking soda, ginger powder, cinnamon, cloves and optional minced candied ginger.
4.    Shape dough into walnut-sized balls.
5.    Place dough balls 2 inches apart on cookie sheets sprayed with non-stick spray.
6.    Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 min.  They will crack on top when done.
