Kundalini Yoga for Temecula, Murrieta, and Lake Elsinore

Oatmeal Cereal

1 heaping cup of Old Fashioned Oats (Rolled Oats)

2 cups of water or 1 cup milk & 1 cup water

1/4 t salt

1/4 t cinnamon

1 T raisins or dried cranberries and/or smashed banana

1-2 t maple syrup or honey

1 t ghee (clarified butter) or Earth Balance Butter Spread

1/2 c milk, soy, rice or almond milk


Add salt to water and bring to boil. Sprinkle oatmeal into boiling water with cinnamon and dried fruit and smashed banana. Oats can be delicate and will turn to mush if stirred too much or smashed. So smash optional banana in separate bowl before adding to cooking oats. Turn very low, cover and cook for 15 minutes. Add sweetener and milk. Enjoy!


Serves 1


How ever many people you are serving it's about one heaping cup of oats per person to two cups of water.
